The president of the Association of Hoteliers of Panama (APATEL), Jesus Sierra, stated since the adoption of the measure they have been supporting each of the requested measures.
During this period, said the businessman, they have been using their power plants; therefore, they have not had any cancellations from tourists visiting the country and seeking for their service.
Sierra recommended the authorities to be better prepared in the case of another situation of this magnitude, as this could happen regularly. (Panama America)
