Ron Magill, communications director of the Miami Zoo, said the eagle "traveled in first class" and was quiet during the journey.
"I couldn’t sleep for three days wondering how her trip would be (…) she is a very curious animal, because she stares at people, but I can say she remained calm during the flight," said Magill.
The bird will be taken to the premises of the "Harpy Eagle" from the Summit Park and it will be presented on June 17.
Since her birth, “she was taken care of by her parents, i.e. the adult eagles, which makes her special, because it is the first time a harpy eagle is born in a U.S. Zoo," said the National Environment Authority. (Prensa)
