The Government Gave $500 Thousand To FEPAFUT

Fulfilling one of the promises made by the President Ricardo Martinelli, to support the national sport, the National Assistance Program (PAN), through its director Rafael Guardia, contributed $500 thousand to the Panamanian Football Federation (FEPAFUT) for the achievements made by their Senior Team and the sub 17 team, respectively.
The PAN delivered a first check of $250 thousand to the FEPAFUT president, Pedro Chaluja, for the senior team and their participation in the final round of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) Hexagonal to qualify for the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014.
Similarly, the director of PAN gave another check for $250 thousand to the Sub 17 team for their participation in the Pre-World Cup of the CONCACAF, in which the Panamanian Sub 17 team finished in second place and earned it's passage to the Sub 17 World Cup 2013 to be held in the UAE.(La Critica)
