SPI Who Killed Pit Bull Was Fined With $1,000

Animals & PetsThe agent from the Institutional Protection System (SPI) who shot a pit bull dog in Carrasquilla last month was fined with $1,000 by the representative of San Francisco, Alba Mena.

It was known the agent appealed, so know it’s up to the authorities to accept or deny the resource.

On the other hand, a meeting was organized for the 21 representatives of the city to analyze the issue on applying fines in cases involving animal abuse. During this meeting, organized by the coordinator of representatives, the Association “Angels of Animals” also participated.

The purpose of this meeting was to educate the representatives on how to apply Law 70 from October 12, 2012, which establishes sanctions from $500 to $1,000 to those who harm domestic animals in any way.

It was also known that many of the representatives had no idea of how to apply Law 70. (TVN)
