Martinelli Gives Mi Bus An Ultimatum - Contract Will Be Cancelled If Service Does Not Improve

Cars & TransportationThe president, Ricardo Martinelli, gave an ultimatum to the Mi Bus company due to the constant complaints received about bad service from Metrobus by users who spend hours at bus stops, waiting to board a bus to take them to their destinations.

"Change your batteries, because I will rescind the contract," were the words of warning from Martinelli for the company, for them to do something about the matter, to resolve the problem of low efficiency in their service. "... I'm already bored," he said about the topic.

The president made his remarks at a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Agricultural Market of Pueblo Nuevo. (Telemetro)

Editor's Comment: These problems with the Metro Bus should have been fixed a long time ago. Martinelli doesn't want anything negative at this point, and the Metro Bus - replacing all of the old and rusting "Red Devils" - should have been seen as one of his administration's biggest accomplishments. However lingering problems with poor service remain.
