Panama Will Increase Transparency At Consulates To Reduce Corruption

Panama's Vice President and Chancellor, Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado, presented a draft of a new law before the Cabinet Council meeting yesterday involving greater transparency of the Consular system, seeking to reform the functions Panama's consulates and the registration of ocean going ships under the Panamanian flag, which could result in a 25% increase revenue in this sector.
