Labor Ministry Will Conduct Audit, Trying To Halt Panama Canal Construction Strike

The Ministry of Labor and Workforce Development (Mitradel) ordered an audit and inspections on the section of the access project for the Panama Canal from the Pacific, known as PAC4, where work has been shut down since December 23rd by striking workers, over disagreements with the consortium comprised of the Mexican company ICA, the Spanish company FCCC, and the Costa Rican company Meco.
