The Charm of Boquete: Boquete is located in the northern highlands of Panama, not far from the border with Costa Rica (and at the opposite end of the country from Panama City and the Panama Canal). At an elevation of almost 4000' the climate is much cooler, and less humid, than the coastal areas of the country. The entire country of Panama is only about the size of South Carolina in the U.S. The town of Boquete itself is an eclectic mix, somewhere between "charming" and "funky". As more people bring their dreams and new-found energy for life here, an excitement is mixing with the relaxed feel. There are plenty of adventures and opportunities here, but it's really a great place to escape the "roar" of your current life. Many ex-pats have found abundant friendships, and social opportunities, in the local shops and restaurants with like-minded souls.

El Salto Road: While we are extremely proud of all of our real estate properties in Panama, these spectacular lots on El Salto Road just over one mile from Boquete, Panama have everything! They are located high on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Valle Escondido resort development. This ready-to-build, slightly sloping land was broken off from a large coffee plantation. Practically at the base of Volcan Baru, the views are unparalleled. Look up to the volcano, across to the Jaramillo mountain range, down to Boquete town and Valle Escondido, and out to the west for distant ocean and island views. Water, power, easy paved access, quiet area, DSL Internet, cell service, and views, views, views. Ready to build. Two of the finest lots in all of Boquete. Bring your house plans and your dreams.

You Can Own Fully-Titled Real Estate in Panama: You can own fully-titled, deeded real estate in Panama, and will have the same legal property rights and protections as citizens! Forget about the shady land-grab confusion that you've heard about in Mexico and other countries. Things are better here! You will want your attorney in Panama to do a full title search for you, and you will probably have a corporation formed to hold that property. However, once the land has been mapped and registered with the government, that land is yours - forever! Your attorney will give you the pros and cons of holding your property in a Corporation. However, the main benefit is for ease of transfer to your heirs without going through a lengthy, and expensive probate process. The downside are fees and set-up costs. You should know that in Panama there are no MLS listings or Realtors as you may be used to (especially in the U.S.). You will find many (dozens of) "Agents" representing the same piece of property, at wildly different prices. Everywhere you go you will meet "someone who knows someone" with a great deal on land. Our advice is simple: Whenever possible, buy your land directly from the person who owns it, not an Agent. We own all of the property that we sell at Boquete Lots, which means you will not find it priced any lower, anywhere! Property in Panama is typically priced by the square meter, and a common form of measurement is the hectare. There are 10,000 square meters in a hectare, which is equal to approximately 2.5 acres. There are about 4047 square meters in an acre. For a quick approximation, just remember 4000 meters is about one acre.
Some of our properties have great river frontage, and are priced at only $12.00 per square meter.
Rancho del Cielo Lots in Panama: Located near Boquete and David, about 15 minutes below Boquete (and 20 minutes above David), we own several large parcels near the villages of Caldera and Macano. These oversized lots, some with frontage on the Rio (river) Papayal, have not been farmed for many years. They would be great for horses, or could easily be certified "organic" for the serious plant or herb gardener. Excellent prices and an outstanding location for those seeking a quiet and peaceful lifestyle. This area is mostly flat, 100% useable, slightly warmer (and less damp) than Boquete, with lighter winds in the dry season. Water, power, cell service and DSL Internet are on the property. These parcels are priced FAR BELOW properties around Boquete town, and in a much quieter area. You may not see a car today!

River Ranch Farms: For those of you who want a bigger piece of Paradise, and more room to roam, we have several large mini-ranches available. These parcels are between 5 acres and 11 acres each, and border our Rancho del Cielo properties. All three pieces have some frontage on the Rio (river) Papayal. Lots are located near the sleepy towns of Macano and Caldera, with Boquete and David just a short drive away. Several lots available sized from 4.9 to over 11 acres, these properties are mostly level and sunny with black volcanic soil, perfect for the serious Gardener! Some river frontage and beautiful mountain views from one end of the property. Some properties have river frontage with large seasonal swimming holes, excellent building sites overlooking the river, and many mature trees including some cashew.
