Indians Trying To Block Hydro Electric Project in Chiriqui

Don is close to the mark here in fact. It is certainly an outside agency stirring them up, though exactly which I have yet to determine.
We had a large non profit organisation offering to invest $740million in the comarca in the form of medical, educational, maritime and tourist infrastructure, all ecologically sound projects, with no repayment requirement but could not identify their leadership despite so many claims to that status, and to the money. There is no unified activity here, just a bit of money changing hands, and make no mistake the Ngobe Bugle are as venal as any other group.
For what it is worth, I can be described as a green activist myself but recognise that green objectives, as with everything worthwhile, must be economically sustainable to take permanent root.

So Quantum when you say THEY don't want it your talking about 30-50 people and just because that's what you also want that's they way it should be. Even the Indian Chief has now come out and asked others not to support it. I think you should try and comprehend what your talking about before mouthing off.
