Coronado... an international investor magnet

Real EstateCoronado is the oldest and most popular beach community in Panama. It property values have been on the rise continuously for 64 years, since Bob Eisenmann started to sell beach front lots to his friends and family back in 1941 for just 15˘ per square meter. This family run business, which is now being run by the fourth generation, is now aiming higher than ever, to capture the international empty nesters. It's no secret that Americans, Canadians and Europeans, are buying homes and apartments for what they consider to be bargain prices, when they compare what that same property would cost them back home. Coronado is offering just that; homes and luxury apartments that offer the buyer the possibilty of having a much better lifestyle for less than what they would spend in the States, Canada or Europe. Coronado is fast becoming a favorite amongst the "Ex Pats", for many reasons. The main reason is security, in every sense of the word. When you buy a property in Coronado, you know that you get your money's worth, and then some. This is not a fly by night operation. You don't have to imagine anything, it's right in front of your eyes. Coronado offers you all the conforts of home with a sense of security and tranquility that is second to none. For more information about available properties, contact Eduardo Eisenmann at 612-6764 or write to eduardo@coronadoesvida.com

Squatter's Rights and Land Reform

Real EstateI'm waiting to see where the courts are going to come down on this case. If they side with the Surgeons, then they are putting all the land Omar redistributed back in play.

Nice Article, Joel...

Real EstateJoel Inwood just wrote this excellent article in The Panama News about the current mess in Bocas. By way of clarification, I do not support one side or the other. As far as I'm concerned, it's a legal question and it will be settled in court. It's an interesting mix of money, history, and politics, and the fallout could have far reaching implications for all ROP land sales, in Bocas and everywhere else in the country. And, the expat community is right in the middle of it.

Bocas Del Toro - Red Frog

Real EstateWhat is happening with all the hooo haaa on Red Frog beach? They don’t have titled land for most of what they say they are going to use to build on? How come they have been allowed to start there destruction of a beautiful place if this is so? They are openly trying to sell the plots before they have even been granted title to the land. They have destroyed a great deal of mango to make an opening for there VERY big boat that comes in over the once wonderful coral and have cut a swath through the jungle that can only be described as a wound on the land. If they only have rights of possession, which I believe I am right in saying is all they have, apart from a very small portion which is titled, how the hell can they do this? There was talk about the land laws being reviewed? Any news on this one would be good to here. If they at red frog real estate are allowed title to there land which at present is rights of possession, will all the other people that have rights of possession be able then to have title to there land? Cheers. Sally
