Meet The Crew:

• Don Winner: Our founder, owner, and editor. Don retired from the US Air Force in 2000 and spent five years working as a defense contractor in Panama before starting the Panama-Guide.com website. Since then he has been the driving force behind the website and creates much of the content. Don can be contacted at don@panama-guide.com.

• Tom Rowley: Contributing writer. Dr. Tom Rowley is a semi-retired US CPA who helps exPats meet their US and Panamá tax and business filing requirements. Tom writes mostly on issues related to tax issues faced by the expatriates who live in the Republic of Panama. Tom can be contacted at tom@panusatsvc.com.

• Susan Guberman-Garcia: Susan lives in Bocas del Toro and is a retired lawyer from the United States, and her contributions normally have something with law or land ownership. In her own words: "My husband Izzy Garcia and I came here from California, and now live on Isla Cristobal, in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago with our 4 California cats and our Panamanian yellow lab, Ali. We are both 57 and are "newly retired" from our former occupations (me: civil rights litigator, him commercial construction project management consultant.) Built a home and two tourist casitas on our little island paradise and have been in business since the middle of 2005. We also have a little budget backpacker hostel in Bocas Town. We love Panama!"

• Jamuna Burry: Jamuna Burry owns the "Playa Community" website, and she functions as our correspondent in the area of Panama's Pacific beaches, specifically around the Coronado area. • Jason Biffs: Jason is "Mister Poker Tournament" - he writes mostly on nightlife and evening entertainment options in Panama City.

• Nadine Kellys: Nadine is an expert at filing medical insurance paperwork, specifically Tricare and VA forms, from overseas. She writes mostly on these kinds of issues.
